Howdy!
I’m Danielle Parker, or Dani, a born and raised Texan creative based out of Winston-Salem, NC. Right now, I am a senior at Wake Forest University studying art history and communication, with a minor in entrepreneurship.
Why photography, you ask?
My heart’s desire is to capture and share the innate beauty that reveals the glory of the Lord. Photography, especially in the realms of travel, wildlife, and portraiture, allows me to freeze moments that let us marvel at the Maker of this earth. I create through a lens for the ultimate Creator, Yahweh Elohim.
And why poetry?
In the beginning, our God spoke this breathtaking world into existence with words. Words hold power. For me, poetry is not just artful expression but an intentional way of communicating profound truths. My poems and liturgies reflect the Scripture I meditate on, convicting things the Lord communicated to me, and the experiences I’ve embraced. Each piece is a product of prayer; these words aim not to glorify my mind but our great Lord God’s.
